Carol Brown Mergedt seems very strange to me that as an e-commerce specialist working with sellers, who for the most part, sell on other channels there is no facility that enables a discount on first order only. This is such a basic marketing tool for muti-channel sellers. It is also imperative to grow a business that you can move buyers from eBay/Amazon over to your website!

Kate MergedWould be REALLY useful (if not essential actually) to be able to have unique codes for first time discounts, and for things like signing up to the newsletter. Currently it is a laborious manual process of having to try and remember to change the code every week or so so that cheeky customers don't re-use the same codes over and over again. Please implement this asap! It would be ideal to have codes that self-generate per customer that can only be used once.

Helene MergedThis would be a great help for customer coming from other sources like ebay/amazon. Ideally based on email address and possibly account login as well. It's too easy to set up a code and then customers re-using the same code again. Many customers don't register when they order so just account login would not work. Not practical to issue multiple codes when most will never be used. Hope this can be looked into and added to the new discount management feature.

MarkCould really do with this sort of thing, equally if it could link up with Subscription payments would be great. I'd like the ability to offer a loyalty subscription setup, customer pays X amount a month and for that month they receive X% off of all orders/specific items. I would see this as working on a customer login basis, customer logged in, purchases subscription, the discount with the parameters we've setup in Discount management is then logged against their account. Would be a top feature!

Malcolm CarterI want to be able to offer unique multi use discount codes to previous customers and be able to track when it's used. At it's most basic, the ability to do a simple bulk CSV upload of email addresses with unique codes against each would suffice and I can worry about integration with email client to send them out. Shocked how limited discount code management is for a platform that has been around for over 18 years!

Charlie Harris MergedCurrently, if you want a discount code to be single use, its only possible if its only used by 1 customer. There is no facility to issue a general discount code to customers which each customer can only use once. I want to share a reward with customers for signing up to my mailing list but I dont want them to keep getting the same discount after 1st use but its currently not possible to do this within the system. I'm sure this would be starightforward to set up?

Rachel MergedIt would be helpful if discount codes could be set for only new customers - we are having repeat customers come back and use welcome discounts time and time again or on subsequent orders. This would also be solved if discount codes were single use only - seems pretty standard to have this kind of restriction on a discount code? Unable to currently give a welcome discount only without risking the code being used multiple times - this is costing us a lot of money when customers do it!

New Threads MergedI agree. This is an issue for my business too. At the moment we are solving the issue by manually having to change the discount code in the website and automated emails every couple of weeks to prevent people from abusing the discount code.
It is a silly and annoying work around that we shouldn't have to do but it does work. -

Jack Wilkinson MergedTo be able to send a discount out that is usable as a one usage per email address. So for instance sending a first sign up email on email marketing that gives £5 off your first order. You would only want this to be able to be used once per email adress at the moment the only way to do this is create multiple codes which then means you would have to send an individual email to each person who signed up. Rachel MergedThere is still no option to make discount codes single use per customer/email address. This is hindering campaigns as we cannot have ongoing codes such as 'come back' or 'first order' discounts etc. without regularly changing them to prevent misuse. This means we cannot use such codes on printed materials such as leaflets and brochures.
